Take pictures.
Develop your own theory about how brands work and what they are for. But don't fall in love with it.
Become a geek [or an expert on something].
Steal everything - every trick and idea - and make them your own.

I think it's very interesting to see the different perspectives that Faris, Aki and Russell use to deliver their advise.
Faris talks about communication and interestingness, Aki about business solutions and Russell about changing organizational behaviour. And still I think they'd agree with each other.
